Mykshi.in (“Mykshi”, “Platform”, “We”, “Our”, “Us”) operates as an intermediary ecommerce marketplace connecting independent buyers and sellers across India. This Prohibited & Restricted Products Policy defines the categories of products that are prohibited, restricted, or conditionally allowed on the Mykshi platform. All sellers are required to comply with this policy, applicable Indian laws, platform standards, and regulatory obligations. Violation of this policy may result in: * Product removal * Listing restrictions * Account suspension * Permanent seller termination * Legal reporting to authorities where required 1. GENERAL PLATFORM POLICY Mykshi.in performs reasonable seller and product verification procedures to maintain platform quality standards. However, sellers remain primarily responsible for: * Product authenticity * Product legality * Product quality * Product safety * Packaging standards * Labeling compliance * Regulatory approvals * Warranties * Intellectual property compliance * Consumer protection compliance Mykshi.in reserves the right to review, investigate, mediate, suspend, restrict, or remove any seller, buyer, listing, or transaction that violates platform policies or applicable laws. 2. ALLOWED PRODUCT CATEGORIES The following product categories are generally permitted on Mykshi.in subject to applicable laws and platform standards: General Categories * Fashion & Apparel * Footwear * Home & Kitchen Products * Electronics * Mobile Accessories * Toys & Games * Beauty & Personal Care Products * Handmade Products * Pet Food & Pet Accessories * Home Decor * Lifestyle Products * Grocery & Packaged Foods 3. RESTRICTED PRODUCTS (ALLOWED UNDER CONDITIONS) The following products are permitted only if all required conditions are met. 3.1 Packaged Food Products Allowed: * Packaged foods * Snacks * Health drinks * Pickles * Sweets * Ghee * Homemade packaged food products Mandatory Conditions: * Valid FSSAI registration/license * Proper sealed packaging * Manufacturing date * Expiry date * Ingredient disclosure * Allergen disclosure where applicable * Hygienic preparation standards * Proper labeling compliance Homemade food products must be professionally packed and compliant with applicable food safety standards. Sellers remain solely responsible for: * Food safety * Contamination * Ingredient accuracy * Consumer health compliance * Expiry management 3.2 Cosmetics & Personal Care Products Allowed: * Skincare products * Hair oils * Herbal products * Beauty creams * Personal hygiene products Mandatory Conditions: * Manufacturer or brand details required * Proper ingredient labeling * Regulatory compliance where applicable * Safe packaging standards 3.3 Sexual Wellness Products Allowed: * Condoms * Lubricants * Wellness oils * Intimate hygiene products Strictly Prohibited: * Adult toys * Pornographic products * Explicit sexual content * Obscene materials prohibited under Indian laws 3.4 Refurbished / Used Electronics Used and refurbished products are permitted only if: * Clearly marked as “Used” or “Refurbished” * Fully functional * Original defects disclosed * Warranty details disclosed * Replacement parts disclosed * Battery health disclosed where applicable * IMEI/serial number compliance maintained Imported electronics without valid proof, invoices, or lawful documentation are prohibited. 3.5 Kitchen Knives Household kitchen knives intended for normal domestic usage are permitted. Strictly prohibited: * Combat weapons * Tactical knives * Illegal blades * Restricted weapons under Indian law Buyers and sellers must comply with all applicable age restrictions and legal requirements. 4. STRICTLY PROHIBITED PRODUCTS The following products are strictly prohibited on Mykshi.in 4.1 Illegal & Regulated Products * Narcotic substances * Illegal drugs * Tobacco products * Cigarettes * Vape products * Alcohol * Illegal medicines * Prescription medicines * Medical drugs * Firearms * Ammunition * Explosives * Illegal weapons 4.2 Dangerous & Hazardous Products * Toxic chemicals * Industrial hazardous materials * Explosive chemicals * Corrosive substances * Dangerous biological materials 4.3 Counterfeit & Fraudulent Products * Counterfeit items * First-copy products * Replica branded products * Fake branded items * Pirated software * Fake certificates * Fake documents Sellers must not infringe: * Trademarks * Copyrights * Patents * Intellectual property rights Unauthorized usage of brand names, logos, images, or copyrighted materials is prohibited. 4.4 Digital & Unauthorized Services * Fake social media followers * Fake engagement services * Software keys * Digital downloads * Pirated digital content * Unauthorized subscriptions * Online account sales 4.5 Adult & Obscene Products * Adult toys * Pornographic content * Explicit sexual products * Obscene materials prohibited under Indian laws 4.6 Animal & Wildlife Products Strictly prohibited: * Live animal sales * Wildlife products * Illegal animal-derived products Allowed: * Pet food * Pet accessories * Aquarium accessories 5. SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES All sellers must: * Provide accurate product information * Maintain lawful business operations * Provide valid KYC documents * Maintain GST compliance where applicable * Maintain FSSAI compliance for food products * Ensure safe packaging * Ensure lawful product sourcing * Fulfill orders responsibly * Handle returns and exchanges according to platform policy Mandatory seller documents may include: * PAN Card * Aadhaar * GST Registration * Bank Account Details * Business Proof * FSSAI License (where applicable) MSME registration may be requested optionally. 6. BUYER & SELLER MISUSE Mykshi.in reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in: * Fraudulent activities * Fake complaints * Payment abuse * Return abuse * Harassment * Policy misuse * Suspicious transactions * Blacklisted activities This applies to both sellers and buyers. 7. RETURNS, DISPUTES & MEDIATION Sellers remain primarily responsible for: * Wrong products * Damaged products * Fake products * Product defects * Warranty claims However, Mykshi.in reserves the right to: * Review disputes * Mediate claims * Investigate violations * Suspend sellers * Remove listings * Process platform-level actions where necessary 8. PRODUCT RECALLS & SAFETY ACTIONS Sellers must cooperate with: * Product recalls * Safety investigations * Regulatory actions * Consumer complaints * Government notices Mykshi.in may remove products immediately if safety concerns arise. 9. PLATFORM RIGHTS Mykshi.in reserves the right to: * Remove listings without prior notice * Suspend or terminate seller accounts * Restrict transactions * Block prohibited products * Request additional verification documents * Conduct compliance reviews Repeated violations may result in permanent platform bans. 10. LEGAL COMPLIANCE All sellers and buyers must comply with applicable Indian laws including but not limited to: * Consumer Protection Act, 2019 * Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 * Information Technology Act, 2000 * Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSAI) * Applicable GST regulations * Intellectual property laws * Legal Metrology requirements where applicable 11. GOVERNMENT & LAW ENFORCEMENT COOPERATION Mykshi.in reserves the right to cooperate with: * Law enforcement agencies * Government authorities * Regulatory departments * Courts and legal bodies Seller or buyer information may be shared where legally required. 12. POLICY UPDATES Mykshi.in reserves the right to update, modify, or revise this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued usage of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated policies.
